Synopsis

All I wanted to do was live my life in peace. Maybe get a cat, expand my spice farm. Really anything that doesn’t involve going on a quest where an orc might rip my face off. But they say the Goddess has favorites. If so, I’m clearly not one of them.

After saving the demon Fallon in a wine-drunk stupor, all he wanted to do was kill an evil witch enslaving his people.

I mean, I get it. Don't get me wrong. But he's dragging me along for the ride, and I'm kind of peeved about it. On the bright side, he keeps burning off his shirt.

Review

I am in my monster romance Era and it's all thanks to Kimberly Lemming. This book was so fun. I downloaded it on a drive to Maine and I'm so glad I did.

Cinnamon and Fallon were the sweetest. Fallon worked so hard to get close to her through their quests and I was here for it!

Like everyone else I've seen these books recommended everywhere and I have a friend who's been telling me to read them and I feel like a dink dong for waiting so long. But you know what they say, fool me once... you ain't gonna fool me again!
